Hey guys, sorry for not posting much. I've been sick for a few days and my throat really hurts. So here's my drafted post. Published for you :)

Ah... yes, "Cost-play" (Costume Play, or maybe Costs too much-play), er- "Cosplay". The word used for wearing costumes and role playing as a character.

Anyone can cosplay, not just kids. So for today, I'll be coming up with my own topic about this. Since, I'm an "otaku" or a person who loves anime, manga, or anything about those Japanese cute stuffs, I'll be delivering this post by my personal thoughts.

Others may ask, what kind of teenagers or grown-ups do these things that are often done by kids? Cosplaying is roleplaying or wearing an outfit to look like the character that you like. So, it means, you are free to do this. There are no limits in doing this. Many people, especially otakus like me, still cosplays for their own personal likings and for fun. Some may have their own social groups (they're lucky T.T), some may cosplay on their own or being supported by a friend, some may cosplay for fame.

I, myself, has been dreaming of cosplaying since my early teenage, but something or some things have been making me step back from achieving my goal. I just want to experience this, but I don't have funds to buy costumes, accessories, etc. Some may say that you can also MAKE your own outfit, but I'm not good at sewing and making dresses and clothes so I have no choice but to choose the BUYING option. Next, my shyness is eating me. Can you even imagine yourself wearing a costume then going out to go to a park to photo shoot and many people are staring at you? I don't know if they're saying "why is she travelling wearing clothes like that?" or "Its not even Halloween yet", like GOSH! PEOPLE IN THE PHILIPPINES WHY YOU GUYS SO IGNORANT AND JUDGMENTAL WHEN IT COMES TO UNUSUAL THINGS? LOL. Nah, really, til now I'm really shy and unplanned about my upcoming photo shoot. Crossed fingers, hoping I'll get along with my photographer (Hi Kuya!!!) Haha.

I'm just gonna share my tips and advice that I personally learned and those that other cosplayers told me as I begin my journey. First off, don't think negative, being a good, cute and an awesome-looking cosplayer takes five times preparation time before setting off with their awesome looks. You might be having a new cos-plan and is so excited about it that you didn't even set a longer preparation time. Second, be creative. Don't just go out buying costume or character sets. Remember, you can also "mix&match" using your own clothes or buying some clothes from a thrift shop, you don't need to spend thousands just for a set. And here comes the "OC Cosplays" or the "Original Character Cosplays", these are role playing or cosplaying as a made up character by your own idea, or maybe dressing up as a common main, bunny, lolita, priestess, warrior or anything that doesn't show up on television or not an anime character (which I often do). Lastly, don't be troubled about your physical appearance. Don't be troubled of your extra fats or your ability when it comes to make up. Just do what makes you comfortable. Don't overdo it too. This was one of my biggest hindrance too when I started my trial cosplay few hours ago.

Here's a sneak peek of my upcoming cosplay photo shoot lols (trial cos)

So, that's it! Never forget to have the guts to do something you want. So that's all for today's topic. Thank you so much! Luv y'all!
