Being a First Time Mother

Hello world! Here's my 3-month old, baby Maria Venice Berlin.

I apologize for not showing her earlier in my blogs.

People may say that its happy to have a little bundle of joy in your little home, which is absolutely true. But for us moms (even for first time moms like me), it can be a heaven-hell experience.

To elaborate, it make us loose our minds because of the sleepless nights, body pain, never-ending carrying a 4-kg crying sack, and even those painful sucking from those babies who breastfeed actively like mine.

The first and second week was pretty hellish for me. Imagine your body is being traumatized after popping out a human from your belly to your vagina. 🤔 Hurts, eh? Well it really hurts so bad that you can't even stand or sit down and even lying down is painful to you.

I had a normal delivery without any complications, except for that little sewn tear after pushing hard. But the worst pain for me was the time when I need to take a dump. Yes. Taking a dump is more painful after giving birth. My first bowel movement took me from 11 in the evening until 2 in the morning. It. Was. Very. Awful.

Well despite of the 1 to 2 hours sleep per night because of your baby crying to get your attention because she sleeps thoroughly through the day, everything was really challenging, especially if you are by yourself.

Being a mom is really tough than you can imagine or from what you hear from your mom or your grandma, but seeing your precious baby smile after 2 to 3 months is really overwhelming and is very heartwarming.

The best thing about being a mom is to see your little one smile and giggle after struggling for those sleepless nights & stress.

I never had a clue how precious it was to watch your baby sleep and feel like a caring mother to your child. I didn't knew how it was to be a mom until I became one.

The things that your child learns, every milestones that your little one makes, every little thing that he/she makes is already affecting me so much to the point that I give importance to everything my dear daughter does.

I will never regret even for a single bit that I had my daughter in my life even if it was too early for me. Being a mother is already being everything to a little human like this angel.

Thank you for reading!
